ECHOは過去をほとんど話さない。
誰といたのか。何を見たのか。なぜ、いまここにいるのか。
必要なことまで説明するつもりはないらしい。
ただ、サックスを吹くときだけ、沈黙の向こうにあった時間が、少しだけ音になる。
彼の音は、終わったあとから長く残る。
There is weight in what is left unsaid.
ECHO hardly speaks of his past.
Who he was with. What he saw. Why he is here now.
He does not seem inclined to explain even what is necessary.
Only when he plays saxophone does the time beyond silence become sound, just a little.
His sound stays for a long time after it has ended.
MARSHIVERNとの接点WITH MARSHIVERN
ECHOは、いつもいるわけではない。けれど、曲にもう少し長い影が必要な夜、ブラスの二人とともに現れる。HAMMERが場所をつくり、誰かが声をかける。ECHOは多くを尋ねない。必要なら吹く。それだけで十分らしい。
ECHO is not always there. But on nights when a song needs a longer shadow, he appears with the two brass players. HAMMER makes the place, and someone calls. ECHO does not ask much. If he is needed, he plays. That seems to be enough.
演奏と舞台での役割ON STAGE
- 曲の終わりに、消え切らない余韻を残す。At the end of a song, he leaves a resonance that does not completely fade.
- BLADEとは、言葉を挟まず沈黙ごとソロを渡し合う。With BLADE, he passes solos back and forth with their silences intact, without words.
- FORGE、BULWARKと並ぶとき、三人だけが知る重さが音の底に現れる。When he stands with FORGE and BULWARK, a weight known only to the three appears at the bottom of the sound.
仲間との関係CONNECTIONS
- BLADE
- 沈黙を、無理に埋めようとしない相手。互いに必要な音だけを残す。Someone who does not try to fill silence by force. They leave only the sounds each needs.
- RAVEN
- 先へ行こうとする熱を、少し離れた場所から見ている。止めることも、急かすこともしない。He watches the heat trying to go forward from a little distance. He neither stops it nor hurries it.
- FORGE／BULWARK
- 三人だけが知っている時間がある。それについて、誰も多くは語らない。There is time known only to the three of them. None speaks much about it.

- 一日の終わりに、静かに頭を剃る時間Quietly shaving his head at the end of the day.

- 強い蛍光灯の光（人前でサングラスを外せない場所が苦手）Harsh fluorescent light — he hates places where he can't keep his sunglasses on.
