THE CORE
Sound, body, light, silence. CELESTIE does not look at any one of them alone. She watches how everything on stage breathes, and how each element leads into the next movement.
Having spent years with physical expression, she values what a performer chooses with their own body over merely tracing a beautiful shape. She never presses anyone into her own form.
She waits until that person's own line appears beyond the form.
MARSHIVERNとの接点WITH MARSHIVERN
CELESTIE is not always there. She is called when a song needs one more breath. The heat of the five. The resonance of the brass. She lays a single string between them, joining scattered movement into one scene. When she joins, not only the music but the stage itself begins to breathe.
With a violin line, she gives form to feelings that have no words.
She joins BLADE's interval and LIME's breathing into one continuous flow.
She watches the breath of the whole stage, including placement, movement and silence.
- BLADE
Her uncle. She knows he spent a long time away from music, and that he took up the guitar again. She does not celebrate loudly; she simply watches that continuation in silence.
- LIME
She did not give LIME, who had danced since childhood, a new form. She taught her what to choose with her own body. LIME is her student, but on stage they face one another as fellow performers.
- SIGNAL
If SIGNAL sees the placement of sound, CELESTIE sees people's breathing. By different means, the two shape the same space in a performance.
OFF STAGE
Beyond the Stage
An empty theater before the curtain rises.
No sense of direction.
