CHIKURIN

HANGARには、ときどき小さなオッティーがやってくる。

ある日、その姿を見つけたHAMMERが、いつもの調子で声を上げた。
「おっ！今日もチンチクリンが来たぞ」

その愛称はいつしかメンバーの間に広まり、みんな親しみを込めて「チンチク」と呼ぶようになった。けれど、LIMEだけは少し気になっていた。

「みんな、チンチク、チンチク言うな！ ……この子はチクリン ……いいだろ、そう決めたんだ！」

こうして、小さな来客には名前がついた。

それからチクリンは、とりわけLIMEによく懐き、気がつけば、演奏のそばにいて、窓辺で昼寝をして、自由気ままに過ごしながら、誰かの足元をこちょこちょしている。

今ではもう、誰も彼を「来客」とは思っていない。HANGARのマスコットとしても受け入れられ、小さな来客はいつの間にか、HANGARの一員になっていた。

今日もきっと、HANGARのどこかにいる。
音を聴きながら…
誰かのそばで…
この場所が少しずつ育っていくのを、ともに楽しんでいる。

A small otter sometimes comes to the HANGAR.

One day, seeing the little visitor, HAMMER called out in his usual way: “Oh! The little Chinchikurin is here again today.”

The nickname spread among the members, and before long everyone was calling the little visitor “Chinchiku” with affection. But LIME was a little bothered by it.

“Stop calling him Chinchiku! This one is CHIKURIN. …All right? That’s what I decided!”

And so the little visitor was given a name.

CHIKURIN grew especially attached to LIME. Before long, he could be found near the music, napping by the window, living freely, and playfully brushing around someone’s feet.

Now no one thinks of him as a visitor. Welcomed as the HANGAR’s mascot, the little visitor became part of the HANGAR before anyone noticed.

Today, too, CHIKURIN is surely somewhere in the HANGAR—listening to music, staying close to someone, and enjoying how this place slowly grows.
